| J & H and it's subsidiary, Columbia Steel Supply, are in the final planning phase to move to the Port of Astoria. J & H will erect a new 14,000 sq. ft. building that will allow the port's travel lift to deliver vessels under our new roof. Additionally, new construction capabilities will be enhanced, and repairs to the existing fleet will be right next to the Port of Astoria boat haul-out yard as well as Englund Marine's new and beautiful marine and industrial store. J & H will once again be a viable player in new vessel construction to 80 ft. The personnel at J & H are well known for their professionalism and workmanship. | In August 2008 J & H began construction of a 45' x 16.5' oyster dredge for the Nisbet Oyster Company Inc. Consisting of a steel hull, stainless deck, and aluminum house this vessel will require a variety of building techniques. A 350 H.P. Isuzu motor and an 8 Kw Lugger generator will power her as she harvests oysters in Willapa Bay.
