66 FT. F/V DEFIANT Prouldly Sails to Alaska In late May of 1980, the DEFIANT left Astoria ready to fish the waters of Alaska. This combination vessel has delivered thousands of tons of crab, shrimp, and bottom fish and looks nearly as good today, 28 years later.
Maiden voyage to Alaska
The RHONDA RENEE in beautiful Alaska 1990 brought the "end" of the building boom for bowpicker style boats for Prince William Sound. The RHONDA RENEE is the queen of the fleet in that area. Two 300 HP diesels move this 35 X 13 Ft. vessel at 30 MPH. J & H built seven of this syle of vessel from 1983 through 1990.
