| MAJOR RENOVATION FOR THE F/V KAREN MARIE |
On January 17th 2012, J & H Boatworks hauled the F/V KAREN MARIE. She is a 58 X 17 ft. monk design squid seiner from Ventura, CA. owned by Pete Dupuy. The vessel will be sponsoned to 23 ft. and fitted with a new rudder. The fish hold will be expanded to the new width, foamed, and re-glassed. The entire hull will be sandblasted and completely repainted. The job is expected to be completed in 3 months.
